Families looking for summer vacation deals might be interested in the new Kids Free Package, offered by Universal Orlando Resort in Florida, for certain trips booked by July 31 for travel through Oct. 8.
The package includes four nights of lodging at a property near the resort, like Doubletree Hotel or Hyatt Place, free transportation to the theme parks and free unlimited admission for ages three to nine to all theme parks, starting at about $34 per person per night, or $533 for a family of four.
For about $62 per person per night, which comes out to a starting rate of $986 for a family of four, the on-site package includes four nights of lodging at hotels in the resort, free theme park admission for children and free Universal Express access, which allows families to bypass regular lines for rides like the new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, a roller coaster opening this summer that allows passengers to select their own soundtracks.
Details can be found at www.universalorlando.com.
