There may be a recession on but that has not stopped one German airline from expanding its business into Florida.

Air Berlin is increasing service between Southwest Flora International Airport (RSW) and Düsseldorf (DUS) in time for the busy summer travel season. Germany’s second largest airline will offer four weekly flights to RSW effective 28-Jun-09.
The flights will be operated on the A330 aircraft, which features a new business class product with luxurious leather seats and elegant in-flight amenities for the discerning traveler.
CEO of Air Berlin, Joachim Hunold said, "We at Air Berlin are pleased with the continued emergence of Southwest Florida as a favorite destination for European visitors. Air Berlin is committed to offering convenient, affordable service to Germany and seamless connections at our Düsseldorf hub to the most desirable German and European travel destinations."
